1. What Crafts do you do with yarn? ![]()
Conclusion - Everyone who replied Knits, over a third of you Crochet and there were quite a few interesting Other Crafts - Click HERE for a list.
2. Why do you do these Crafts? ![]()
Conclusion - Family and Friends figure highly in your reasons but a lot of you are generous with your time (and money) - Click HERE for some details.
Conclusion - As we suspected, Double Knit came out most popular with 4ply just piping Aran for second place. However we were surprised by how many of you use 2ply & 3ply - Not easy to work with but well worth the effort - keep it up.
4. Which pattern types do you use? ![]()
Conclusion - No surprises here - Adult, Children & Baby almost equal top. We did have some interesting answers in the 'other' category - Click HERE for details.
Conclusion - This did surprise us - half of you knit every day, with almost a third of you a couple of times a week. It is good to know the 'Art' is still alive and well.
Conclusion - Families featured high here also, and a lot of you taught yourselves - well done. And it seems your memories are all working fine - only one person couldn't remember ............................ now what was it ....................... ?
7. Which Country do you live in? ![]()
Conclusion - We have quite a few customers from Countries outside the UK - Click HERE for details.
Conclusion - We were surprised by this result - from the names on our customer list we expected many more men - perhaps they just don't like filling in surveys!
Conclusion - This was a sort of 'Bitter / Sweet' result, we were a little disappointed there were no under 16's and very few under 30's who replied - we need to get our youngsters interested to keep these Crafts alive. However the image that all knitters are old age pensioners has been well and truly quashed by these results.
10. Other Comments
Conclusion - We were not looking for compliments here but we did get quite a few - Thank You. For a list of some of the comments, questions and answers please click HERE.
